WHO ARE YOU?

Hello there, I’m an FX artist based in Australia born in Perth (but also studied in Melbourne then Sydney). I’ve also been a part of SIGGRAPH Asia for 5 years with 4 years of being a Team Leader.

I got inspired for VFX when I was 8 years old and saw a Kamehameha in real life video on Youtube but it wasn’t until later on when I watched a VFX reel of one of the Pirate of the Caribbean movies that I started learning a little bit on what visual effects actually is. I then began experimenting with After Effects and learned some compositing, developing my love for VFX and motion graphics.

Eventually I did the Blender donut tutorial and that was gateway drug into Houdini where I fell in love with pyro simulations and the proceduralism inside Houdini. I am now a graduate of the Animal Logic Academy with a Masters in Animation and Visualisation and I also have a Bachelors in Design in Digital Media from RMIT.
